Welcome to TinkerLLM. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TinkerLLM website (tinkerllm.com), the TinkerLLM application (app.tinkerllm.com), and any related content, exercises, or services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Kalvium Labs ("we", "us", or "our"), an AI product studio based in India.

By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

TinkerLLM is a hands-on AI education product built and operated by Kalvium Labs. For any questions about these Terms, you can reach us at support@tinkerllm.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (including your Google sign-in) and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud, abuse, or misuse.

3. The Service

TinkerLLM offers lessons, exercises, and a live LLM playground that lets you interact with third-party large language models using your own API key ("Bring Your Own Key" or "BYOK"). The Service currently includes 68 exercises across multiple lessons.

The first 26 exercises are available free of charge. The remaining exercises require a one-time purchase as described on our Pricing page.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

To use the playground, you must obtain your own API key from a supported provider (such as Google AI Studio). By using your API key with the Service:

  • You agree to comply with the terms of service, usage policies, and acceptable use policies of the underlying model provider.
  • You acknowledge that any charges, quotas, or rate limits imposed by the provider are solely your responsibility.
  • You understand that prompts and completions are transmitted directly from your browser to the provider's API. TinkerLLM does not store your API key on our servers or log your prompt content.
  • You are responsible for the content of the prompts you submit and for ensuring they do not violate the provider's policies or any applicable law.

5. Purchases, pricing, and payment

  • The full course is offered at a one-time price of ₹499 (INR), inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect purchases already made.
  • Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. By completing a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
  • Upon successful payment, you receive lifetime access to all currently published paid lessons and exercises, and to any future lessons we release within the same course.
  • We do not store your full card or banking details on our servers. Tokenised or masked payment information may be retained by Razorpay in accordance with RBI and PCI-DSS requirements.

6. Refunds and cancellations

We want you to try before you buy. The 26 free exercises are designed to give you a clear sense of the learning experience. If you purchase the full course and it is not what you expected, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@tinkerllm.com with your order details.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. We may decline refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

7. Licence to use the course

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not:

  • copy, reproduce, redistribute, or publicly display course content (including lessons, exercises, and solutions);
  • share your paid account with others or resell access to the Service;
  • use the Service to build a competing product or to train machine learning models;
  • scrape, mirror, or otherwise programmatically extract content from the Service.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
  • generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing;
  • attempt to circumvent paywalls, rate limits, security controls, or authentication systems;
  • disrupt, probe, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
  • attempt to identify or extract the API keys or prompts of other users.

9. User content

You retain ownership of prompts you write and notes you create in the Service. By submitting feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Service, without obligation to you.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including the website, application, course content, text, graphics, logos, and underlying code, is owned by Kalvium Labs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google (for authentication and LLM APIs) and Razorpay (for payments). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services, and your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to keep it running smoothly, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Course content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Outputs generated by third-party language models may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and you are responsible for evaluating them before relying on them.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalvium Labs and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹499, whichever is greater.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalvium Labs and its affiliates from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including licences, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as via email or an in-product notice). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
